The holidays are here! Wondering what to get a friend or family member that has taken up the sport of Paintball? Usually, a person would have had to play Paintball at least six months using a rental marker before deciding to invest in their own equipment.
After all, it’s not only a marker you will want to purchase. In order to become a self-equipped player where you only pay for admission and air when attending a Los Angeles Paintball Park, you will need a full set of gear.
- A Paintball Marker with barrel cover.
- HPA compressed air tank.
- Paintball Battle Mask.
- Protective vest, knee and elbow pads.
- Gear bag.
- Paintballs.
Chances are, you already know which Paintball Park Near You is your favorite and have hopefully gotten familiar with some of the regulars that play there.
Paintball USA, serving Los Angeles, The San Fernando and Antelope Valleys, has many regular self-equipped players that frequent here on the weekends. We offer a great membership package for the ones that come in with their own gear.
It is $50 per month. The fee starts from the first of the month until the end. You get free admission and air tank fills both Saturday and Sunday for that month. The discount on a case of Paintballs goes for $45 per case. There is a two case maximum per day per member.
As a first time or beginner player you should always use a rental gun at the Paintball Park you at visiting. Paintball USA offers three types of rental guns.
The semi-automatic .68 caliber guns are standardized norm. You can find .68 caliber Paintballs easily and we sell them here at Paintball USA.
Pump markers are old school and some self-equipped players prefer them. They take .68 caliber Paintballs. More advanced players use electronic guns and hoppers. Some are semi-automatic while others are fully auto. Because they are electronic, the Paintballs are shot with more speed.
Finally, there are .50 caliber markers with smaller HPA tanks which make them more light weight and easier to carry in a game. They shoot out the smaller soft gel Paintballs.
Fully Auto Paintball Guns
Players that are practicing to join teams and participate in tournaments go for the full auto gun. Some of the best manufactured high-performance markers are the Dye, Eclipse, Empire, and Luxe.
You can also customize your marker with higher quality barrels and electronic loaders. Tippmann makes a fully auto gun called the X-7. Some prefer to anodize their guns in various colors to match their mask and jersey, especially when playing on a team.
If you are interested in purchasing a pump gun, try Phantom online. Paintball USA rents out semi-auto Tippmann Alphas and Cronus guns. Both are .68 caliber. We rent out Paintball Soft, .50 caliber Tippmann guns.
No matter what skill level you are, Paintball USA offers beginner games and advanced.
