Playing Paintball in the Cooler Weather

As with any of your favorite sports, playing them in the cooler weather is a lot less exhausting than in the hot summer months. The colder it is, the more exhilarating you feel when exercising.

Paintball is considered a strenuous, physically demanding sport because you are not only running around with a gun made out of metal, but the filled tank on the back adds to the weight. The Paintball battle mask can feel a little uncomfortable and bulky until you get used to it. https://www.paintballusa.org/gallery/paintball-usa-fields

Layering up with short sleeves underneath long sleeves, and a jacket adds to the weight and bulk, but allows you to take off clothing as you heat up and sweat while running. Paintballs are filled with a liquid. You will want to fill up your hopper and canisters prior to every game so you won’t run out of Paintballs during a game.

Picture all of this clothing, gear, gun, tank, and Paintballs while running and dodging behind bunkers. In the cooler weather it’s easier, but when temps reach upward of 90 degrees, it makes for a strenuous task while exercising in the outdoors and getting the best Paintball experience ever.

Paintball USA, is the most well-known Paintball Parks in Los Angeles. Being in business over twenty-five years, our reputation as a safety certified Paintball Field brings us many parents that enjoy celebrating their child’s Paintball Birthday Party here. https://www.paintballusa.org/

Paintball Near Me is a good way to start your search if you are thinking of having a family gathering or want to get started in the sport. Paintball USA Acton has been established in the Southern California area for more than two decades. Of course, it depends on what area of California you reside in. Driving to Play Paintball for more than two hours seems somewhat extensive both in time and the cost of gasoline.

We are located across from the Acton Metrolink Station, 540 W. Carson Mesa Rd., Palmdale. Give us a call during the week to ask questions or plan your Paintball outing. The phone lines are open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (661) 210-6206  https://www.paintballusa.org/welcome-information

Footwear is an important item to consider in any sport. Athletic shoes are specifically made for the sport of your choice. Keep in mind that Paintball Fields are usually rough terrain on dirt with rocks, sometimes that includes running up slopes and hills.

Athletic shoes or sports cleats that have grip on the sole are best to keep you from slipping and spraining an ankle or worse. Hiking boots are an option because they provide ankle support.

As with any sport, stretching is important so as not to pull a hamstring or muscle. We recommend the following to prepare for Paintball Games

  • Bend and stretch your hamstrings and core.

  • Stay hydrated even in cooler weather.

  • Get in some cardio by jogging or walking the field.

  • Eat carbs before exercising.

  • Avoid drinking alcohol the day before.

Bunkers or “hiding places” for players to avoid shots from the opposing team provide walls, structures, tubulars, and heavy brush as an outdoor urban fighting scenario. There is always a referee guiding players through games and watching for safety. https://www.paintballusa.org/
